A group of children gather around me as soon as they see my camera. There is no escape, the most fun is to let it happen. In this seemingly chaos the most cheeky are in front, no photographs are taken yet. Screeming of laughter the whole bunch follows every movement of my camera. In the back is a girl, looking shy. She's not mingling in the bustle of children competing for the best places. My eye isolates her from the surroundings. (Congo 2007)
I love to be in contact with people, that's when I can excel. Thoughtful, patiently and creative, until the right photograph is taken.
