Some pictures say more about me than others. The light, an emotion, maybe a memory. Moreover they have touched me. They tell the story of my vision, be inspired...

This one is a very personal one.
This is us, the reason why I get out of bed every morning. We came together in a very unconventional way and raised two fantastic children who have now found their way in life. She is my mirror, steers me without me knowing. I cherish the time we spend together, she makes me a better person. Those who know her will echo me as I say; she's a beautiful person, inside and out.
As I said, this one is a very personal one.

The light is amazing, the place is surreal.
We are in Tanzania. Next to the Rubia hospital family members of admitted patients cook a meal. Generally patients in an African hospital don't get food supplied by the hospital. The family, not seldom a child has to take care of that. The thick smoke and the beautiful light pouring into the blackened building make a perfect shot in a not so perfect world.

Pets or more specifically dogs always touch me directly in my heart. For 25 years now we live with a small pack of Siberian Huskies. An indescribable source of love and fun. Racing with them over the Pyrenees mountains and long cold winter nights on long distance trails in Sweden. They never let me down, always amazed me with their stamina. They learned me to always be at at your best, give it all until the finish line. Qualities I use during my shoots whether it is working with people or with pets.

Egypt 1992. This is where it all started, my love for the unknown. Explore countries, be open to cultures far away to learn about them and learn about yourself. My camera invites people to connect like I want to be connected. The assignment I gave myself brought me to the top of mount Sinaï, the deserts of Nubia and filthy hotel rooms in Cairo.
